The news of Apple launching iPad has already created a sensation. Thanks for providing more information about iPad in layman’s terms.
One of the most likely incumbents to be affected will be electronic books such as Amazon’s Kindle eReader, which is widely expected to look clunky compared with Apple’s latest offering.
Last year I bought Kindle. Now, looking at the ipad specs, I wish I’d have waited a little longer. Anyway, I am not planning to buy ipad during the launch. I’d wait for few months when they launch updated ipad with lots of accessories.
I’ve been a fan of Apple for sometime, they produce gadgets that is aesthetically beautiful while working like a champ. A lot of companies aren’t able to say that, it’s typically one or the other. Companies don’t usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With that said I’ve got to say that I’m anxious about the new Tablet. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I’m afraid that this may be ahead of our time. What do you think?
As it stands, the iPad seems like an iPhone for blind people, but will begin to overtake the market once software developers begin to beef up its capabilities. Sports Illustrated can add moving graphics to show that great last shot like photos in a Harry Potter movie. For business, I now will have e-mail, internet, notes, and presentation materials all in one easy to carry binder. Out in the field, I can use spreadsheets for cost analysis, look up other costs on the internet, and e-mail my reports to the appropriate people, right out of the box. I can also develop forms apps to handle just about any situation. Once the software starts to flow, I think you are going to see another revolution, just like the iPod.
Just landed on this place via Google research. I love it. This post change my perceptual experience and I am taking the RSS feeds. Cheers.
those are great accessories. i think the ipad will be much more popular than the kindle. the kindle is way to limited in what you can do. a gadget needs to be much more useful for its crowd to like. iPad on its way to the top!
Before we went and picked up all those iPad-specific accessories, we thought we would look around and see what could double as a stand, case, etc…
The surprising thing was our 4-year old Stowaway Folding keyboard for our Blackberry (which we never used) worked great!
Here are some pics of some other things which worked:
